Hyperspectral imaging combined with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) can distinguish adulterated powders in different samples of dairy product powders without using wet chemical analysis methods. We also applied machine vision techniques to recognize black particles in samples of milk powder, to identify burnt powder particles resulting from an incorrect drying process.
