IAC 2026: Showcasing cosine’s latest innovation in space instrumentation and remote sensing

From October 5 to 9, cosine participated in the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026) in Antalya, Turkey, presenting its latest remote sensing instrument VALK, Silicon Pore Optics X-ray technology, and discussing future mission developments.

Bringing together more than 10,000 scientists, engineers, astronauts, companies, and policymakers from the global space sector, this year’s IAC congress in Antalya provided a fantastic platform for our team to connect with Dutch and international partners and showcase our latest developments.

Throughout the event, cosine hosted visitors at the NL Space Pavilion, welcoming notable guests such as the Consul-General of the Netherlands in Turkey, Mr. Daan Huisinga, and Josef Aschbacher, ESA’s Director General. Engaging with international partners and space agencies, the team discussed tailored, mission-specific solutions. A primary focus of the exhibition was the display of cosine’s newest remote sensing instrument, VALK, highlighting ongoing advancements in space instrumentation and high-energy optics.

As part of the program at the Dutch Pavilion, cosine’s Cecilia Marasini, delivered a presentation during the booth’s “Dutch Koffietijd” session. The presentation outlined the company’s recent technological milestones, and provided an outlook on upcoming projects and developments in the field, among which Dutch Ministry of Defence’s PAMI-1 and ESA’s Ramses.

cosine thanks all attendees, partners, and colleagues who visited the booth and contributed to productive discussions throughout the congress.
